Extended Family

This session is done within the comfort of your home. No need to worry about a fussy baby, I'll take as many breaks as needed to make sure baby is fed, settled & happy.

For your birth sessions, I will keep my calendar clear within 2 weeks of your due date.
I will always try to do my best to be there by re-arranging my schedule, if possible. However, I realize that births do not always happen when expected, so as such, I will offer you a Fresh 48 session in it's place at my newborn rate.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you have a location for family photos?
I do! I live on an acreage outside of Sherwood Park where I do a lot of my sessions. I'm also happy to come to you or meet at a different location that maybe you've had your eyes on for awhile.
How long are your sessions?
This is probably my most asked question. I do not time my sessions as I would never want to rush anyone. It's so important to me that everyone has a chance to get comfortable so sometimes the sessions will fly by and other times we may have to take a little snack break, which is okay with me.
Can you help with what to wear?
Absolutely! I'm happy to receive pictures if you're torn between outfits. I'll make Pinterest boards too if you're needing something from scratch (I'm a visual person, so this is always my go to).
When do I book my maternity and newborn?
There is no wrong time to book photos. I'm a huge believer in just get the photos, you'll never regret it!
With that said though, I'd suggest for Maternity around 32 weeks and Newborn within 14 days after baby is born.
What happens if I need to cancel or change my appointment?
Hey I get it, life happens, kids get sick, emergencies come up, so I'll reschedule your session one time, for no additional charge.
If after that, your session is cancelled or needing to be rescheduled again, I will require a new retainer fee of $50 - which the new retainer will go towards your session total and the 1st retainer is forfeited.
When do I get my photos?
I'll discuss this with you at the time of your session but I always try to have sneak peeks or 1st galleries within 1-2 weeks and then 2.5-3 weeks for your final gallery.
